Whats your best game of the year in 2010?

I dont play games that much more then Earth Eternal, and kinda would use some good hints on what to buy !

I like all kind of games!

What consoles do you have? So far this year, I've loved Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy XIII and am currently loving Metroid: Other M. Halo Reach is out soon, and that looks good to.

It's still too soon to say as there will be a vast amount of games coming out until the end of the year.

If you have an Xbox 360 I would highly recommend getting Left 4 Dead 2, playing that game with your friends is just amazingly fun, it's definitely one of my games of the year

If you have a Xbox 360 Halo Reach is out soon. Personally though I have been addicted to Fifa World Cup all summer and cannot wait for the new one out soon!

Also Alan Wake is a great game!

Halo reach comes out in 12 days time. Reach wins hands down. Easily gonna be the best game of the year. Ill spend days just messing about on forge

It is too early to say at the moment, as tons of games which i'm expecting to be good are due to come out later this year, such as Gran Turismo 5, COD: Black Ops, Medal of Honor, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Halo: Reach.

But at the moment i'd say ModNation Racers or God of War 3.

The best games of this year are coming out in November. But I think Just Cause 2 or Heavy rain are my GoTY.

This year, definitely God of War 3. I don't have a PS3, but played it twice at friends. I was simply blown away by the graphics, the gameplay and the brutal combo's. I love this game.

Other games that were very nice this year:
Bioshock 2, it's just too much fun having a drill

Mass Effect 2, amazing game like the first but a little bit short
Starcraft 2, just started playing this and gotta say it's really nice

I'd say that MineCraft is the best game of the year, that is however an extremely biased opinion. I might tell you how terrible it is next week, so it could just be a phase.

Halo Reach is coming out in 6 days, COD Black Ops is out this november and there's some others that I've missed so it's really too soon to say what the Best Game of the Year is.

But here's a short list of some personal favourites.
MineCraft - As said before I'm pretty much in love with this game. YouTube it and you'll see many videos on it, it's rather the craze right now.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Great game with some interesting physics to say the least. Fantastic to play with a group of friends online, rather frustrating otherwise. If you do go for this, make sure to buy it new, as it comes with a one time use VIP code which unlocks 6 pieces of downloadable content. The VIP code costs £10 otherwise.

Just Cause 2 - Haven't had much personal experience with this one myself, but from what I've seen and been told it's a quite nice sandbox game that may just serve well as a stress ball. You can probablies pick it up on the cheap now too.

Forza Motorsport 3 - Again, not much experience with this one but it's a massive open world driving game with a vast amount of cars and customization choices, if you're a driving fan, what more could you need?

Left4Dead2 - It's a great shooter when played with a friend or two, otherwise it's comparable to any other shooter.

BioShock 2 - Not as scary as the first one and can get repetetive rather quickly. Can also get to head exploding levels of annoyingness.

Sorry but Halo is in a league of it's own compared to those games!

If I was going to buy a PS3 the first game I would get is Infamous, what an awesome game... and for the Xbox 360 the best game I have played recently was Alan Wake (a bit short but brilliant game).

Well, I have played that many games but I just want to say that my favourite game is Gears of War 3 of the year 2010. The one thing that I want to say that I have played this game with one of my friend and just can say that having no that much experience with this game. But I like it too much.
