X Factor 2010

I just ran a quick search, and found all the old X Factor topics were dead so I decided to make a new one. The X Factor is a British singing talent show (with many international variants) not dissimilar to American Idol. The latest series started last night, and it was really awful (more so that usual =P). Why? It's just the audition stages, and even so early on in the competition they're using auto-tune to adjust voices. Listen to this performance:

The guy is a genuinely terrible signer, and the girl isn't very good either. But thing is, her voice has been digitally edit so much it's beyond a joke. Seriously, what's the point? It's common knowledge that almost everything is staged and scripted, but this just eliminates every possible aspect of it being a fair competition. Any other fans of the show notice this?

According to me, X factor is a world best singing talent show, I love it. This show can't compare with American Idol show. Because In this show, they are not only finding the singing talent in contestant and also finding the star quality. This is a actual different in this show, which I really like it.
