| Mini Mac | Looks good. Am I right in saying that to make an iPhone app, you would need to pay Apple? |

![]() | Yeah to publish on IPhone and Xbox Live Indie marketplace you need to sign up and pay a developers fee. Plus also with IPhone you need to get your app approved. So we will probably work on an Android version first. |

![]() | Does look very nice. Seeing the words Indie games tends to put me off sometimes, but yours definitely looked like it was made by a more professional company really. Looking at some of the rubbish indie stuff on the Xbox makes you wonder if anyone actually pays for them. Yours would definitely be a shining addition to the marketplace. |

![]() | Not nosey Coding is something that I'm not very good at I'm OK but no way near talented enough to code the likes of Galoop. I am currently studying for a diploma in Video Games Design which is a lot harder than it sounds. Just having an idea is not enough you need to document it correctly, in the form of Pitch Documents, GGD (Game Design Documents) and Story Bibles, High Concepts ect... Then once you get the game up to spec with your team you need to work out what can, cant be done with whichever engine you decide is best to build your game, unless you go the build your own approach which is not very cost effective. Now if I was looking in to getting funding and getting the studios game published then you have the hard part of selling your product to the publishers with prototypes complete costing of how long to do the project, staff etc.. massive task in its self. All this before you start to even get the team working in different directions on the game before it hopefully all comes together, although a game rarely stays the same as the original concept. This is why we have chosen the indie route to self publish and have more creative freedom to make the games we want in our spare time, plus I like to release my games for free. |
