![]() | Recently i have enjoy Doctor who episode 12 part 2 Big bang which is the final episode of it. Which was just amazing. Storyline of this ending episode was interesting in which the doctor is trapped and TARDIS damaged. Overall storyline of this one was interesting. If you've not watch it yet then have to gonna watch it online. |

![]() | Been an avid watcher of Who since the new series began, but does anyone else think that the quality of the episodes has taken a turn for the worse in recent years? Particularly the last series . . . they just seriously overdosed on the action. We just didn't get scenes where the Doctor and Amy were wondering around and exploring like we did in previous series. There was just a lot of "running around like headless chickens from one plot hole to the next." |

| Mini Mac | Absolutely agree. I've just watched all the other doctor who series on demand and he new series can't compare to the old ones. Better story lines is a huge factor..

Sadly not the case . . . I love Matt and Karen, I really do, and River's such an interesting recurring character - but the pressure of writing so many episodes seems to have got to Mr Moffat. | |

![]() ![]() | For me the best episode of NuWho (2005-2010) is The End of Time two parter. But, overall The Classic series (1963-1989) has better quality stories, although the visuals have alot to be desired. Also, i must say, i have found S5 boring and dull. Only 3 episodes were moderately enjoyable for me. Amys Choice, The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang.

![]() | I personally enjoyed "Cold Blood" the most, primarily because there was much less 'running around like headless chickens' in the formula. I did quite like Amy's Choice as well, but thought the ending was rather weak (psychic pollen? Really?? I'm all for antagonists that aren't conventional monsters but . . . pollen?) |

![]() | Mind you, there've been a couple of moments in the new series where I've thought "Oh dear, what were the effects team thinking?" But largely, the Mill (pretty sure that's who they use) have done a fantastic job. The werewolf was a particularly fantastic piece of CGI, and the Daleks are always great (although I'm not sure about the new design . . . they do look a bit like giant shampoo bottles |
