Game trade in's

I have a number of games that I would like to trade in (ps3 and wii), and am wondering if anyone knows if Gamestation still offer their price match on CEX prices +£1, or if there are any other good places to try?

Ah, I didn't look properly, to be honest I rarely find anyone more competitive than CEX, they are usually the best.

What games do you have? I went to Gamestation the other day and they gave me £30 for MAG on PS3! I know it's new but that's a great trade in!

Are you looking to buy Battlefield? If you are you get an extra 20% trade in!

Oooo they do sound good. The games are Call of Duty MW2 (ps3), Super mario galaxy, mario and sonic olympic games, mario kart, warioware smooth moves and boogie super star (all Wii).

Just want to ask, and yes this is a bit of a hijack. I've got a load of PS2 games with a few PS3 and Wii games in there too, do you think I'll be able to get any decent money for them?

You never do in my experience anyway lol.

It all depends on how old the game is, condition it's in, e.g. has it got the full box and manual with it.

I traded in about 15 ps2 games about a year ago and got something like £11 for the lot

That would probs be enough, would a full list of every game and it's condition be helpful? I know I'm sounding sorta desperate but I'm gunna have to go to town for all of this.

If you have a look on CeX.co.uk : Sell to CeX you can see all of the trade in prices there. You never know, it might turn out to be an alright little lot!

What PS3 games are you getting rid of?

Ahhh I've already played it! Was hoping to pick up a bargain from ya!

I really did not get on well with Fallout 3. I bought it on a whim and didn't realise that it was so damn slow. I raced through the story as I couldn't care less about the side quests but then got to a point that because I hadn't leveled up my character enough I was just getting molestered by everyone! After the 200th time of dying because of some rat thing, off it went back to Gamestation!

Thank god someone understands. It wa sthe slowness that bored me. I think it might have been the use of guns in an RPG. IE, it took too many bullets to kill somebody, fine when it's in FFVII but in Fallout 3 it was just boring.

Anyway, CEX says £52.1, and seens as I was going to sunderland anyway (Granger Games, I might as well check out CeX as well.

Agree totally!

That's not a bad amount!

I dunno if you know what you want to get but I've just finished Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and that was pretty great. Although I'm playing the Blur beta at the moment and it is the most fun I've had in ages!

I did use Goozex.eu for a little bit, got Oblivion for the PS3 and then couldn't be bothered.

Does anybody know if Goozex will take an Aussie copy of COD4.

I gave it to CeX, but tehy said that they couldn't and Granger Games said that the disk was too scratched. To be fair it is i really poor condition but it does work, if I could get some of the scratches removed would Goozex take it?
