Worst refereeing I have seen in my life earlier... was a clear red card. United played well and derserved it based on the rest of the game but they should have been down to 10 men!

i find it so annoying when i see people talking about how they "hate" that referee and claim they're **** at what they do. There's so much pressure on them and they don't get to see what WE see at home. Food for thought

But he gave the penalty. So he saw it. And it was clear Vidic was the last man. Seen as though noone else was within 20yards. It was just a strange strange decision, which happened to go in favour on MAN UTD once again

Being a man Utd fan, you'd expect me to be biased but I agree Vidic should have gone off and I think he would have if it hadn't been so early in the game.

On the other side, if he has sent him off, people would have been moaning at him for "spoiling the final".

Thought it was quite an entertaining game and so glad to see Rooney proving that he is/was a better team player than Ronaldo ever would be.

Yeah that's true. But it was a clear red card, so i doubt too many people would have moaned. And to be fair, i doubt it would have ruined the final, cos utd are just as good with 10 men lol!

Yeah it was a sending off. All teams get decsions go there way that shouldn't. Just because it's Manchster United they moan. They just talk about Man U getting all of them but they don't talk so much about other teams.

He did see it though as he give the penalty, so he has to go... what's more bizarre is he didn't even get booked!

Yup, it would still be classed as a foul anywhere on the field. But, it didnt look like a coming together to me. It's just a shame referees werent allowed to come out afterwards and explain their actions but I suppose if this happened Alan Hansen and the other so called pundits would be out of a job.
