Anyone else got it pre-ordered?

I think it's going to be great, best one since FF VII? Reviews have been really good so can't wait to get my hands on it next month!

I'm hopefully just gonna get it with a couple of greens. Looks so amazing!

However, I'm likely to get both greens before the release date and would like to preorder it... This should be fine with FJ, right?

Once you get both greens i'm sure they can pre-order it so you get it day of release!

The characters in FF10 were brilliant, it is the closet any FF game has came to being as good as the 7th one!

True they were brilliant and the storyline was just epic! Never played the 7th one tbh, it was a little after my time. I just hope the new battle system is good, i actually liked the strategy style ones where you just chose the move to use, like in the 10th.

I'm actually surprised at myself for not playing any "proper" recent final fantasy games. I have loads of nintendo spin offs (chrystal chronicles) and a couple of Tactics games. I've got remakes of FF4,3,2 and the original (through the DS and GBA series) but have never owned a mainstream final fantasy in its first form.

Which is why I can't wait for march now!!!

Not sure whether I'll get it or not.
Started playing FF8 again. Only thing that puts me off this game and it's quite a big offputting thing is bloody Leona Lewis doing the song for it. haha

I keep looking at this an i really want to pre-order it but i'm getting really busy at uni and i just know i'll end up playing this rather than doing my assignments lol, but i might still pre-order it anyway

Does anyone know if the new one is online or not? and if so what features are there online? Just had a look on the Game website and it doesn't mention online play, yet the Xbox version of the game has Xbox Live on the cover so just wondering whether its just extra downloadable content that will be available or a full online world.

If it is mainly off-line i'll get it for the PS3 purely becuase of the better graphics etc. that generally go with PS3 games, but if it's online then i'll probably get it for the 360 due to the better online play i usually get with the Xbox.

robbo69, the new final fantasy is a single player only game. And every xbox 360 game out has that xbox live symbol on it, it means that you can use background live functions on any game (IE. Party chat, messages etc). Also, it has been hinted at that extra DLC will be made available, strongly supported by the argument that nearly a whole game's worth of content has been cut out due to storage issues. That in mind, the Xbox 360 version is actually 3 discs long, whereas the PS3 version is just one since it deals with the blu-ray medium.

I think thats all you wanted to know... but it's gonna be awesome anyway!

Final Fantasy VIII is the best FF game ever in my opinion. The storyline was gripping. If the new game is anything like FF VIII il be happy!
