DS or PSP.

I only have one gaming console; PSP-1000. But the thing is it always have one problem or another, also it has a few scratches on the screen. I think that shop guy scammed my father because my father does not know much about consoles, mobiles etc. I had a value pack with the strap and cleaning cloth missing, not that I want them but still...

Right now, the memory card is broken (split into 2!), I borrowed an original memory stick from my friend but my PSP was not reading it. Now I think it has a memory card slot problem. I haven't played my PSP since 10th September 2009. Now I'm thinking to sell it but I don't know what to get. a PSP Slim or a DS. I've already owned a PSP, but the DS owners say that PSP is far better than a DS. So what's your opinion?

Please, don't answer "get a PSP Go!" or a "DSi XL" or a "Xbox 360 Arcade". I know I would love to have them but I'm not that rich. So PSP-2000 or DS???

I would definitely go for the PSP-2000.... it's a great console! Also, have you considered the PSP-3000? It's about the same price as the 2000, and some features are better.

I don't know but I just don't like PSP 3000 much. Maybe I'll consider it. Do you own a DS, is PSP better?

I've owned them and much prefer the DS. More quality games, and usually better gameplay, vs. the PSP's better graphics, and imo, gameplay is more important.

Plus, it's cheaper so that's always good

Gah, the age old debate lol.

I really like the PSP, but I never really use it. And I think the DS is better. I just wish that a serious game developer would realise the potential of the PSP.

And don't get a PSP go, EVA.

I have a DS and PSP.

I don't play PSP anymore now, because i dont like the games.. I play DS when i go to bed sometimes..

I only have a DS but from what I've seen I agree with Maxx- there's just so much more available on the DS.
If you do get a DS- you need to get Elite Beat Agents- best DS game ever.

get a DS and get an R4. Every game you could want.

I personally prefer DS to PSP, more fun to play. Much more interesting games as it's not trying to be a console for the hardcore gamer

I prefer my PSP, being able to play old PS1 games on the emulator is awesome, i've got final fantasy 7 8 and 9 on mine.

Surely you're missing a trick tho? Use a referral site to get both the DSi and the PSP for free???
