| Mini Mac | HaddowsfestNow sure if anyone is aware of this but in March there will be a festival called Haddowsfest, being held in Edinburgh, which is similar to Dot to Dot festival that is held down in Sheffield/Nottingham. Basically it's a day of bands playing at different venues all over the city and you gain access with one ticket for all venues. It's only £15 for an early bird ticket which is a bargain and it looks sure to be a pretty decent line up. Here's who's playing so far [quote]Idlewild The Dykeenies We Were Promised Jetpacks My latest Novel The 10:04’s The Paddintons Sergeant Jim Gellatly (venue host) London Blackmarket The Chapman Family The Nature Boys Imperial Racing Club The OK Social Club Pose Victorious Make Sparks Tango In The Attic Mitchell Museum The Vivians Epic 26 Delta Mainline The Hot Lips The Void The Electric Ghosts Ardentjohn The Gillyflowers The Machine Room Two Stripe The Shermans The Leads Cancel The Astronauts Lost In Audio The Valkarys Dead Sea Souls Sebastian Dangerfield The Strands The Rigbys The High Lines Jakil Alfonzo The Asps The Debuts Aaron Wright A Day Overdue Arrows Of Love[quote] I personally cannot wait as The Dykeenies are one of my favourite bands as well as Idlewild. It's on Sunday the 28th of March and you can get tickets from Gigantic.com | Haddow Fest 2010 tickets for Various Edinburgh Venues, Edinburgh - official UK agent I don't have any involvement in the festival, I just don't think it's been advertised very well as this is the first I've heard of it. Hopefully be useful or appealing to some folk. Perhaps even people who fancy a road trip
