  | Downloading/recording tv showsok stop me if this is illegal  my mum has gone out tonight and asked me to record strictly come dancing and x factor finals. Now i do not have a dvd recorder attached to my tv, nor do i have a video. But i assume i will be able to download these and burn them to disc. Now the interesting part, can you do that with iplayer/itv viewer? (too much aggro explaining how these work to her) and is it illegal seeing as its just the same as old style videoing? |

| I'm pretty sure that they're the wrong format but she can always just watch them on the laptop after you've downloaded them.
