Why must you listen to idiots who sing/rap down the microphone. That "screaming" takes just as much tallent as other vocals. Additionally the musicianship in heavy music is greater than the vast majority of other music forms.

Can i just point out there is a huge difference to rapping and all these "weird alternative" vocals that i hear here. Rapping relies on some great lyrical content. (which isn't the case with most sell outs like 50 cent, but someone like Lupe Fiasco is one of my favourite lyricists i have heard ever) I don't know how these guys fare lyrically. Ultimately Diesel, you shouldn't make comments what people like and don't like. Everyone's different with music and as long as there are fans of some band it must be doing something right, though i must say i do struggle to see what here i must say

I know their is. I wasn't actually making a negative statement about rapping/singing. I was just trying to point out that it's all subjective. Much like the conversation between Donnie Darko and Frank in the Cinema:

"Donnie: Why do you wear that stupid bunny suit?
Frank: Why are you wearing that stupid man suit? "

That type of thing... I am quite proud of myself for thinking of such a good exqample.

No, i questioned what they were like as i don't listen to that type of music so have no idea what the lyrical content is like? It seems to me you can't understand what they are saying though so presumably not in the cases i have seen.
