Lord of the Rings

I just watched Lord of the Rings: Return of the King last night and the other two the nights before. (all extended editions 3 disk set).

this is my fourth or fifth time watching all three of them and i can still honestly say they're one of my favourite if not may favourite trilogy of films. The storyline is just superb, and i love the endings of all three movies, especially Return of the Kind. It's one of these movies where at some point you will always get a shiver up your spine even if you have seen it before.

Anyone else have a thing for Lord of the Rings?

If you haven't seen the trilogy see it as soon as humainly possible.

Also, added a poll to see which film is peoples favourite.

Re: Lord of the Rings

I voted for Return of the King as it meant the whole was finished and there would be no more - except for the hobbit

In all seriousness, I enjoyed them all the first time I watched them but just get bored watching them again. Some films can be watched over and over - Leon, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Anchorman, Debbie does Dallas - but the lord of the rings films just aren't interesting enough. I'm bored of the rings.
