We now have 49 teams in this league, a good improvement on last season.

You can't see any other players team until the gameweek starts Jake.

Does formation matter???

Because of the order that I picked them in, I have an awesome right hand side, and a left hand side belonging to Ackrington Stanley pretty much...

Does it matter??? I'm assuming not, as I can't find how to change it...

Please could someone answer my questions above (two posts above) as we are getting ever closer to the start of the season, and having a center back at right back, a centre mid at right mid... If formation matters, I'm screwed!

To change where the player is positioned, log in, get to the "graphical" version of your team. Choose "Data version". Click the down arrow to drop them. Then choose the player you want on the left first, then the right.

Hope that made sence.

you cant see other teams lineups until the after the weekly deadline has passed (to stop you copying your rivals formations).

formation doesnt matter in terms of putting a right footed player on the left. You will get the same points if you put Lampard on the left wing or in the centre...your players get points on the stats, not on where they play in real life.

But it does sometimes help in terms of the number of points you get. For example last season i found it was easier to score points having a 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 formation because it was easier for teams to score with clean sheets rather than goals...if you get my drift.

No, formation doesn't matter... you can pick whatever strikers, midfielders, defenders without worrying about where they are in the formation. So it doesn't matter if you pick four centre midfielders!

Not quite sure I do...

How does it make any difference your formation on the game? Why would you get more points playing a 541 than a 442?

It all depends on the results of the week. but i found that a defender got 6 points for a clean sheet, and to match that a striker had to score...not trying to give any hints or anything...

but in my opinion its easier for a defender to keep a clean sheet (say one of the top 4 teams) than it is for a striker to score. Also strikers tend to get subbed and rested a bit more. Look at Utds back 4 last season...Evra, Rio, Vidic and Brown. How often were they subbed or rested? then look at Rooney, Tevez and compare...even the likes of Torres was getting subbed all the time. But this is just luck of the draw. Similarly with Adebayor, he went through a run of scoring in 8 straight games...then nothing.

Dont forget full backs sometimes get a few assists when crossing the ball

lol i know mate i was only having a laugh

i know you're not kidding because i use that very same tip every time i take part, strong defenders that play for teams that don't concede alot score very high points! they are much more value for thier money in comparison to players like torres, tevez etc...

(bet everyones gonna have 5-4-1 now lol)
