I'm not being funny but you should close the league as gameweek 1 starts to all new entrants. Stops people swapping teams around in the league for better ones and the arguments when somebody joins in gameweek 27 and goes straight to the top. I think it's only fair and everybody kind of agreed last year this was the best way in interests of all fairness.

Went to make my team a while ago, all the players I had last year have gone up in value and I was well over lol. Looks like I'll need to pick this years unexpected talent.

I agree with closing the league at Gameweek one. If there is anyone who has a genuine reason/has been registered on exceem before the deadline, then they could join in the first few weeks if they missed it.

Wow! Just went back to create my team and forgot to change my team name. The last time I just wanted to see if the name 'Arsenal' had been taken. It must have been stored and I forgot to put it back to my usual and to my surprise it hadn't been taken.

Is it possible to change it? Or should I just stick with Arsenal lol?

Yeah, you can change it. Log in and look just below where you have your team colours on the right, below that are your leagues and further down in "admin and team details", click that and change your name.

With these leagues you can join whenever you want, if you join after August 17th you'll miss out on the first round of games though!

Right a little update

For all those above that asked yes the league is still open, and it will remain that way until the first gameweek.

As for a prize, no networks have offered anything as of yet but i've decided to front up a prize myself for the team that comes out top. Which will be

A 2gb Ipod Shuffle in the colour of your choice (or a gift/vouchers to the value of £45 if the ipod shuffle is not available a year from now).

On the left hand side click "leagues" and then the new page opens up and you will see a "Join Private League section" just input the code into the box and click "join league"
