Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

I can't be bothered to wait to get referrals for the new nintendo console so I've just gone and pre-ordered one.

Should arrive next Friday with Zelda Twilight Princess.

Can't wait!

Anyone else getting one?

Re: Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

I'm getting one from wiiforfree and I've pre-ordered one from Amazon too so I've got two on the way in case one doesn't show! Where have you pre-ordered from? Not to put the dampners on it or anything but most places are sold out of their quota and the few that aren't weren't guaranteeing delivery before xmas last time I checked

Got mine preordered from amazon last tuesday. Preorders went live at about 930am, got mine confirmed at 935 then saw they'd sold out by 10am

Re: Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

Nice one, I think they sold out even quicker than that, by about 9.40 they weren't taking any more orders

I'm getting my 360 from giveaway this friday, and then my Wii should arrive next friday! What a week

I like the look of Zelda, might have to pick up Red Steel as well.

Well its going to be a work of no work for me - I quit my job so that I can enjoy the wii without distractions of work! Got mine preordered from freeclickz. Will be interesting to see which site sends them out first, in fact we should have a competition to see who does

Unfortunately I will be in work (not that I work too hard anyway!) Got a couple of spare monitors at home though, so quite tempted to bring one in and get my 360 set up!

Red Steel looks good, have a look on youtube for the trailer.
Wii Sports should be a laugh too

Re: Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

Zelda has excellent reviews, I went into Game yesterday to preorder it but they had stopped taking preorders. My name is first in line for the THIRD delivery of it though.

I preordered the Wii a few weeks ago from Game though with Red Steel and GT Pro Series, so I should get it on release.

Red Steel shows of the capabilities of the console well but has average reviews, there are a few things that let it down. I'm not sure what GT Pro is like, I'm getting it mainly because it comes with a steering wheel that you put round the Wiimote.

Warioware: Smooth Moves is coming out around January, that will be worth looking out for, kind of like eye-toy for PS2 but with the Wiimote.

General prices of things:

Games: around £40
Wiimote: £30
Nunchuck attachment: £15 (which means an 'extra controller' will cost £45)

It seems expensive, but don't forget, the console itself is £180, which is an extemely low launch price.

Re: Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

Amazon has cheaper prices than that. Got Zelda for £34.99.

Don't care about any other games at the moment as that'll keep me occupied plus I'm really looking forward to some retro gaming on the virtual console

I think Freeclickz would win.
