I went for a place bet on the following three....

I was going to back a horse called Creosote as it was good over fences but ended up backing V-Neck as it's a good jumper.

It was either the horses or the jockies that were injured, some of them got the snot kicked out of them by the other horses because the middle was so tightly packed, not sure if any horses are dead but they put that cover over them even if they are injured.

I won £40 on ballabriggs.

yeh thats one thing i hate about the national. every year your guaranteed a fatality. its hard to watch too. i did notice the first faller which never got back up. just moved his head and you could tell he was bad...
