After a month of link building i have seen my new site appear for a keyphrase in the top 200. I know its not that high but for the past month its peeed me off not seeing it there as the sites from 40- 800 have F*** all backlinks i couldn't understand why mine doesnt rank!

I thought maybe i have some kind of new site penalty! But at least know its in the top 200 i have something to work towards. When it was ranking it felt as if my efforts where not doing anything! But know they are, lol

The best thing is just yesterday i have managed to get two strong backlinks, so should see my site rank higher!

Oh i know this is a freebie forum and they site im talking about isnt freebie related, but thought id let you guys know as i get on with you guys the most online. I actually Feel part of a real online community!

So tbh aswell as letting you know about my ranking with me new site this is also a well done to Jon & his Mods for maintaining an excellent forum!

Well done... nice to see some results from your hard work. I know what you mean though, took ages (about a year!) to get to #13 for my keyword, then got dropped 40+ places and now taking ages to get back up there!

Getting higher shoulnt be to hard as my domain age's, oh and i have found a nice lil backlink builing tool!

Not sure if it would help my sites in the freebie scene though.

The key phrase im building for isn't that competitive that's why it annoyed me not to see my site in the serps for a month. Oh well, at least now i can see how fast or slow my efforts are working!
