If it is the case that they go broke, there is nothing we can do unfortunately. I'm sure that they have something in the terms and conditions stating that they'll retract all responsibility if they go into administration.

Also, as much as people try to believe it, we are not their customers - but freelance salesmen for them. If a company goes bust, people lose their pensions (in our case - XBox 360s and iPods ) - that's the way life is unfortunately

i saw on the freepay website that they are the 19th fastest growing US company!!! so they cant be doing that badly!

I got 10 refs - was gonna wait for 11 but might just send it in now.. might even get one more by the time they check over my form.

I will be well pissed off if i dong get my XBOX360 i have wanted one for so long now!!

Also they just put up the freebidding offer so its not like they have stopped operations or anything .... a bit of hope please!!!

You remember the petition to get Freepay to make more of their sites available to the UK.

Well I think we should start a new petition to get them to take them back off us before we get scammed by them and their lack of respect for a privacy policy!!

The court date is because they breached their own privacy policy and sold emails to spam lists. They are being taken to court in the US.

Has anyone else been receiving their spam? I certainly have - they must have sold my email address since it's one I only use for freebie stuff. Can we take them to court here too, and make the money to just buy the stuff?

What kind of spam are you talking about.. I used two different emails, the one I used for the ipodvideo site has always been getting lots of spam so that one is hard to know.. but the other one I used for the nano site has received no spam whatsoever...

However, all the email titles begin with "Adv.". They are all about making money on the internet, although I haven't read them to be honest! Has anyone received the same emails?

i sent a support ticket yesterday and got a reply today,this is wat they said:
