I have been getting a lot of greys on my account.
The ones that say
"Joined, but offer not completed.
User did not join via referral link."

I have been baffled by these but I think I have figured it out.
I think that these peeople have followed my link to freepay but did not sign up initially. A cookie is probably saved at the same time with your ref link but when the person signs up they dont use your ref link and join without a ref link but freepay knows that the person visited the site with your link due to the cookie.
At least that is what I think it is.
Any other ideas?

My idea is freepays using this as another way to stop people getting their referals However its not a new thing as i was getting them back in the days of freeipods.com, i think your idea is sort of right (well its logical).

yeah nayeem, i figured that out too, im almost 100% sure you are right, and that it is not freepay just rejecting sign ups.

There are a few threads on this already - it means they clicked your link but navigated away before eventually signing up.

still sucks - you think they would honour the green - i mean they wouldnt have signed up if it wasnt for you, i bet freepay still get their money?

There is no indication that they would be green, could just be yellows so probably not missing out on anything. I guess they just like to rub it in! Perhaps it's intended to quieten the undoubted masses that submit tickets saying "my friend definitely clicked my link and isn't showing on my list".
