Re: Ebay Credit

The Ebay offer has now gone (from ipods and nanos). Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

I still haven't been credited for my ebay offer but I think it might be because I'm already an ebay user and was making an account for my girlfriend (who wanted an account). I might just do another offer.

Re: Ebay Credit

i completed the offer on the 2nd of January, bid more than £10 etc but never received credit for the offer...

anyway a few days ago i emailed them asking what was going on and it turned green within a day of emailing them, they were quite helpul really, so if you still haven't been credited drop their customer services a line and see what happens

Re: Ebay Credit

When getting in touch with them through the 'Help' section of the site, would I have to give them any details? Will they know how to connect me with the ebay account I created?

Re: Ebay Credit

yep, the best thing to do is submit a no offer credit report, and they should ask you for all the relevant details such as the email address you used to create the account and when you completed the offer etc etc

Re: Ebay Credit

Thanks for that! Which 'no credit offer' does ebay fall under? As in 'Instant or Regular?

Re: Ebay Credit

I get an automated message which suggests making an 'online submission form'. I have no idea what they really want here, how would I email them?

Thanks for any help

"If you have done all of the steps above and still did not get credit for your offer, please do the following:
Send us the confirmation email that you received indicating that you have signed up for the offer by cutting and pasting the documentation into an online submission form and we will research the matter for you. Be sure that any E-Mail communication includes the date on which that E-Mail was sent.
This is an automated response."

EDIT: Doh, I feel stupid now. Just worked it out.

Re: Ebay Credit

i think it's a regular offer. I got the automated response too, basically it wants you to send them the email that ebay sent you saying 'welcome to ebay' or similar. I just copied/pasted the whole of that email into the bit where you can reply at the bottom of the page, with a little covering note saying yes i had signed up legitimately and bidded etc. After that they should deal with it in a day or so.
