| iPod Nano 500TB | Why are Freepay still a supported network? If someone were to join up to Freepay, seeing them listed in the eXceem Supported Networks and have an awful freebie hunting experience, it could put them off for life and think badly of eXceem! Is there any reason why they are still listed as supported, given the hundreds of examples of poor service, wrong items and months of delays?

Freepay may be mega slow at replying to tickets, if they reply at all. They may have a 90 day time limit. They may send you automated responses, and amazon vouchers instead of the physical item. But that it what you sign up for when you join freepay! You can't really demote networks to unsupported either... "Unsupported" networks are "supported" really (because some networks you can't even mention on exceem, which is a good thing...) but they are just not as "supported" as the "Supported" section... (if that makes sense I.e. Kudos is unsupported, and FJ is supported, but there are other sites that are even more unsupported than that. Freepay has proved to jon and the other mods that they don't scam - they may have horrendous customer service etc. etc., but as long as they don't do anything illegal, that is where they shall remain. ![]() | Re: Why are Freepay still a supported network? It would be cool if there was some sort of ranking/rating system ... not determining the level of support but giving people a clear view of how well each site has performed based on the opinions of the majority of exceem users. Perhaps each supported and unsupported site, once they've been around for a year could have an exceem official score with criteria based on:- - referral rates - customer support - is there a time limit? - was the gift received? - gift received within a reasonable period of time - flexibility (custom order options, voucher alternatives) - loyalty effort (competitions, promotions) - exceem interaction (willingness to contribute to exceem and keep users informed) - choice of offers - quality of tracking (did you have to chase people to send support emails to get their offer credited more than a reasonable amount?) Each time someone completes a site and receives their gift they could leave each site a feedback score based on the criteria and add comments along the lines of ebay feedback system to determine a final score. Something along these lines would give a clearer picture imo and would reward unsupported sites who fulfill alot of the criteria to a high standard. As people have said every time this topic comes up, freepay are sending gifts out, it's just that we have been spoiled by other excellent networks who go the extra mile to please and satisfy their customers that it makes freepay look even worse by comparison. |

I suppose also that us members are a bit to blame about freepain also though because a lot of us know what they are like and know that it may take months to get our things, but at least we know the gift/vouchers will arrive. In MY opinion, I would only grant "supported" status to sites that had an active rep on exceem as freepay have basically shown a lack of respect for its uk/exceem members but other companies are always to be seen on exceem and that's something that I'm grateful for as it does ease skeptical minds.

My thought was to have a feedback/scoring system endorsed by exceem but contributed to and collated through all different members input each time they received a gift as with the example of ebay feedback. I just thought it would be a helpful and quick way for network owners, exceem users and new users to the freebie scene to judge network performance both recent and present. That's a good idea though only granting supported status to sites who do have an active exceem rep.
