what I had been thinking is Trading Standards Institute (tradingstandards.gov.uk) but it now occurs to me that Gratis Internet are located in DC, a continent out of their reach. although since they do operate in the British market TSI may still be able to do something. don't quote me on it though, just taking a guess.

hmmm... I think I'll give BBB a call and ask why they haven't replied about the situation.

Re: Freepay Ignoring Support Tickets

the BBB is the better business bureau. Better known as - the old folks home of business.

I called them up today, some 70 year old lady answered and pretended she had no idea what I was talking about when I asked the whereabouts of my case, and why I received no reply, and the whole time while i hear other 70 year olds in the background.

After about 15 minutes, she finally just said, "ok i have your case number! just call back thursday and you can talk to someone else!" And i was very polite to her, and she treated me like an idiot, kept telling me I must've never actually filed a complaint, because all online complaints are initiated within 2 business days. Then when she "found" my case number, it was obvious she was full of crap, and just didn't feel like dealing with me.

I actually like Freepay more than the BBB. At least when you call Freepay (and actually get a hold of someone) you get something accomplished.

lol the BBB's rep going down with freepay.

I need freepay's number. The one on the BBB website doesn't work.
