The last straw has been pulled.


I am now so tired of waiting I don't really care anymore. I cancelled my order and redeemed it again, then I sent an extremely pissed off email to freepay. I don't care if re-placing my order will mean i'm going to have to wait longer. I just want the damned ipod!

Sending them an angry email isn't excactly going to make them in much of a hurry to help you, I think that's a mistake, I'd have sent a polite patient email, just enquiring into how long it would be expected to take, ask if the process would be quicker if they were just to give you electronic vouchers instead, and then just buy the ipod from amazon

I think you also get more vouchers than the iPod is actually worth. When I completed istuff I requested vouchers and ended up receiving them before my ESD.

I didn't send them an angry email, just a pissed off email. Kind of just telling them I am extremely unpleased with them. If it had arrived by the ESD date then I would have been happy. I just wish there was some sort of telephone number so I could get straight through and actually speak to someone.

but by cancelling the order and replacing it, you've given them a leg to stand on..

to be truthful mate, i haven't seen freepay send an item for ages.. you're best off asking for the vouchers and ordering one yourself..

If you want it so much like you said in the first bit, why don't you care that re-placing the order will mean having to wait longer?!

Freepay are notoriously slow at sending things out. The best is to ask for vouchers as has been said or just be patient. Cancelling and re-ordering will only slow things down and if you keep doing it over and over you may even never get the item!

I asked for the vouchers two weeks ago but they havent replied to any of my requests in the last month.

The ESD date is the Estimated Shipping Date. Not the estimated date of it actually arriving at your door.

2 weeks aint squat, with freepay it can be over a year!! Been over 6 months on my lcd account, they take as much time as they want to make ya wait, they really need a disclaimer on there site. "items will take well over 3 monts or over or under if ya lucky. They do batch approvals and sending outs, so everyone is happy wen they have there goods after a lonnnng wait,

still muppets too me though !!!

With Freepay, I'll think you'll find that ESD = Estimated Start of Dissappointment

It seems to me that they are about two months behind on shipping vouchers but the odd one gets through quicker from time to time.

Hey mate

The best thing to do is, contact them again and explain to them in a nice way, I signed up and got my free ipod on the exact date, only waited an extra 2 days for the vouches to arrive.

Just explain to them your situation and you'll be fine.

Also cancellation your order and re submitting it is a bad idea. I would not have tried that.

By email do you guys mean actually email or send in a request using the form on their website. I have always just sent in a form.
