I don't know if it's the same with Freepay but where we get our celldorado offers from use a batching process so sales can take a few days to show up. Chances are they are tracking, just a delay in the reporting.

Hmm, I had a referral go green for me within an hour of doing a celldorado offer last night.

Hi to all,

Freepay and celldorado are dodgy with tracking.

Having taken advice from Schism, here is what you have to tell your referrals to do.

When they are on the computer, delete all of the cookies - some people have found that they have done 3 or 4 offers on one site, and none on the others - this is because the offers all track using the site of the first cookie...

I.e. if I was to sign up to gaming, istuff and ipods all in one batch, and not to delete all of the cookies, the chances are that gaming would track, but the other two wouldn't

So, ALWAYS DELETE COOKIES BEFORE AND AFTER...

This worked for me - got my referral to do it again, and it tracked within the hour

Chances are that if it hasn't tracked within 5/6 hours, it hasn't tracked, and the offer will need to be done again

Hope this helps

JTP

Edit: See the man himself got there before me!

You have to do the offer again....

If you didn't clear cookies before, then it may not have tracked

To get it to go green, clear cookies, and then do another ringtone offer

Costs more, but is pretty much guaranteed to track

Clearing cookies does nothing if you didn't clear them before hand...

Hope this helps

Re: Whats Happening With Celldorado???

I just thought up a brilliant concept of how to explain cookies!

Imagine your in a hall, there is lots of doors and you have to use a key to open the door, and once the key is in, you can't take it out unless you lock the door again... so you have to take the key out (clear the cookies) to open the new door (to complete another offer).

That's not a bad analogy! Good effort!

I really don't think it matters how many times you have done the offer, but Schism is completely right about the cookies...

That is why some people are finding that if they join two freepay congas at the same time, one tracks, and one doesn't, or the offer tracks on the wrong account

Just tell your referrals to do Schism's cookie cleaning and they'll be fine I reckon - worked for me...

Re: Whats Happening With Celldorado???

Really?!? But how would celldorado distinguish...

I think they are probably connected - if you have done it more than once, you've most likely not cleared the cookies etc. etc. etc.

No? I just don't see how doing it more/less times has an effect on tracking unless it is to do with cookies...

Re: Whats Happening With Celldorado???

But the majority of referrals are first-timers... so how does it work that it is they are the ones not getting tracked...?

I really do just think that it is the cookies thing
