![]() | Few questions...Hey, just have a few questions, I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I've signed up on ipods.freepay.com and I have completed an offer. Now I'm just trying to find others who will help me out so I can get my iPod touch. Anyway, for some reason I can't verify my account... not too sure why I have tried sending the e-mail several times using the account page, and I have even tried another e-mail account (a googlemail one, which apparently worked for someone else). What should I do? Also I was just wondering why it is necessary to give address and phone number details. Are they going to be contacting me? Why should they need my phone number? Lastly, if someone who has referred me has used a fake contacts details (address, phone etc) will it still count as a referral if they complete an offer? I have been spending alot of time on this and It's giving me a headache, I just want my iPod touch already... Cheers |

And I'll let you guess why they need the address. And using fake contact details will eventually put the user on hold since it's against Freepay's T&Cs. For the e-mail, try 10 Minute Mail, verify the e-mail address and change back to original one. Hope that helps. |

![]() | Re: Few questions...obviously they need your address to send it to you, the phone number they wont use really, maybe if its out of stock but they will probly just email you. try changing ur email address to 10 minute mail, that usually works (google it) and if they use fake details, they can be put on hold if freepay find out, and then they wont count as a referral. so make sure ur referrals dont pretend they live at buckingham palace (: |

![]() | Re: Few questions...It worked! My e-mail address has been verified Secondly, let me just confirm this... if the people I refer use lets say their next door neighbours address... and random phone number... this will still count as a referral for me right? Although, yes, they wont be able to get THEIR free gift if they decide they want to also refer people. ...the reason I am asking this is because I was thinking about paying people to sign up, but ofcourse there is no way for me to know if they signed up with their own address and phone number. Lastly, does anyone have any tips for me? I want to get my iPod touch as soon as possible so I can leave this addiction! lol. Cheers |

and just make sure ur referals use their own address, of course freepay arent going to know if they use a fake address that is beleivalbe, but it is still against their terms and shouldnt be done. | |

![]() | Re: Few questions...Another question: Let's say a friend of mine signs up (through my referral link) and makes an account successfully, completes an offer and I get a green... let's say that same person breaks the rules and for whatever reason his account gets disabled ...do I still get the green or will it not count? |

I'm telling you to explain carefully to friends to do the offer properly.

![]() | Re: Few questions...Right.... I have managed to get the 5 referrals... However... Although you have the minimum number of referred friends needed to get your FREE iPod, our records indicate that you joined less than 30 days ago. According to our Terms and Conditions, you cannot request approval until your account is older then 30 days. Please check back after 3/6/2008 on this page to continue to the next stage. Please note: Unfortunately, customers often find that 1 or 2 of their referrals do not get awarded due to their referrals having broken our Terms and Conditions, so you may want to refer extra friends to improve your chances of approval. We will check your account and confirm that all of your referrals are unique, valid and legitimate. We also check your referrals' referrals, to ensure that there has been no fraud or abuse. We cannot award you credit for referrals that have broken our Terms and Conditions, please bear this in mind. ...so now I must wait untill the 3rd of next month before I can even request for my referrals to be verified ...I am being told that the verification process itself can take a month, and delivery can also take a month... is there anyway I can speed things up? I have a feeling I'm going to end up with nothing. |
