Reply from Freepay

Last week, my account got put on hold with Freepay as apparently there had been fraudulent activity.

They also put one of my referal on hold, a colleague who signed up from work.

I sent a support ticket, and they replied saying they suspected fraudulent activity. I replied again telling them that there is no way this is fraudelent and explained myslef fully.

This is the reply I got

Thank you for contacting FreePay Customer Service.

We have carefully reviewed your account and comments. Our decision to keep your account on hold will remain unchanged. Intentional or not, a violation of our Terms & Conditions has occurred. We consider this issue closed. Any additional correspondence relating to this issue will not be addressed. Furthermore, continued attempts to contact us may result in your account being disabled.

We are sorry that this matter could not be resolved to your satisfaction.

Sincerely,

The FreePay
Customer Service Team

I am fuming at this, as they are telling me I can no longer talk to them about it by threatening me, and also what is the difference between on hold and disabled.

Re: Reply from Freepay

I guess by disabled it means that you can not log in to submit a support ticket.

If you truly feel you hav'nt broken their t+c then submit a complaint to the BBB

Re: Reply from Freepay

BBB = Better Business Bureo (or however you spell it).
you can complain about bad businesses through them.

I know how you feel by the way. they did the same to my ipods.freepay account and i was put on hold for no reason and i had 8 out of 5 greens! i contacted them and they replied with that exact same email.

daylight robbery if you ask me!

thats a standard copy paste reply, there has to be a body that can step in as i see it atm freepay are a law to themselfs and can hold your account for no reason other than it pleases them.
