in exceems eyes or not, he's made it common knowledge that he's a network owner.. he's taken a cheap shot at another network without having reason too.. its unprofessional no matter how you look at it..

Apparently they are dispatching orders as soon as they have been placed, the special courier just keeps running into some difficult terrain (such as rocks which are quite confusing to navigate)...

erm.... he has signed up and stated he was unimpressed with the bombardment of non crediting offers.... I dont disagree with how this has been interpreted, I just think that the usual motley crew of pitchfork wavers have got their knickers in a twist again, and this chap feels like crap for speaking out.

how can you have an opinion and air it when the opinion isn't even your own ? he signed up and thats it.. sorry but you can't comment on a service you haven't you used and you certainly can't air an opinion thats based on what you've read from other users ?

This is probably going to get me a slating, but please get this into your head before slating me!

Come on let's be a bit more sensible about this. All that has happened here is somebody has given his opinion about a certain network which many of us have done before. And everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Fair enough he owns his own freebie network but this makes him no different to any of us.

The biggest problem with what we are doing here is, we are putting off people who are considering signing up to our eXceem community, and we don't want that now do we?

So let us stop the slating of one another now, everybody is entitled to their own opinions and the best thing about opinions is, nobody is right! Let's make eXceem a happy and friendly place without the arguing between users.

as i keep saying i wouldn't have a problem if

a) most of his posts weren't about how freepay are supported and he's not and
b) if his opinion was based on his own experiences and not what he'd read on here

You have valid points there, but on the other hand, aren't our opinions created to arouse feelings in other people? For example if I say I don't like something to somebody then the chances are they will not go and try that thing?

I wasn't having a dig at any competition, Freepay are such a huge entity that I would be sensible enough to know that any tiny little bit of damage I could cause them on here, would do me absolutely no good. If anything, new members would go for the UK networks which is what I was originally saying I'd be happy with, rather than new members trying Freepay, and thinking all the networks have service like this. Secondly I am not 'miffed' about still not being eXceem supported. I'm trying to get listed on eXceem as a 'Not Yet Supported Network' where I will prove myself and in time, possibly reach Supported status. Whether Freepay remains fully supported or not doesn't affect me, but I was just looking out for people who are new to the 'freebie scene' and pointing out that if they are from the UK, they should be pointed toward fully supported UK networks so that they get decent service from the outset. And I shouldn't need to have completed this network to be able to stick up for potential newbies, when it's all well documented about their service on eXceem. Although, as I said earlier, my opinion on them now depends on how that thread I mentioned pans out... and remember it's an opinion, and that's all.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of rant threads in open forum. Like it or not, Freepay is a supported network and many members have and will probably continue to use their sites. It doesn't really help their cause if this is one of the first things visitors see when they come to the Freepay section.

If every other section/network had a rant thread, we would struggle to convince anyone that the system works. Would everyone just stand back and be quiet if FJ or Kudos were getting a kicking for example?

You've hit the nail on the head there... I'm saying it should be made obvious to new members that they may be letting themselves into this until freepay get it sorted, which I'm sure they can with all the many millions they're making. It just puts new people off the whole idea of getting freebies if they do a site, and wait for extremely long periods of time to hear of anything.

The point of the thread is to moan about Freepay, not to question eXceem's decision to give or retain supported network status. That is for Jon and the team to decide.

I didn't question eXceem's decision on the matter, I simply made a statement saying that if I was asked to vote on a matter, that's where my vote would lie, purely because I don't want new users put off the whole freebie experience.

there was a rant thread last year (or the year before) about one of the uk networks and another network moved in and tried to get customers using the thread against the 1st network.. they got slated for been un-professional, this is the same type of thing, he's not used freepay, so can't really have an opinion on them, so that leave's it down to him just trying to play it dirt and give another network a bad name..

What makes you think I'm the cause for freepay's bad name on eXceem. The posts have been here for long enough stating that their service could be improved to say the least. Also as people keep saying, in the eyes of eXceem I am not yet a network owner, which is how I chose to put my view across, as an observer. Hopefully I'll be listed on eXceem soon enough, and I'll be able to prove myself just like all the other networks who've had to come through here, and this thread will serve as a documented bad patch in my early career lol. In all seriousness though if (fingers crossed) I am listed, I'll be as professional as every other network owner on here, and won't be voicing such sensitive opinions.

Yes they are slow, but whilst they still send out gifts i cant see why they shouldnt be supported since they are the original free gift network! What would be good to see though on exceem is more recommendations towards the UK networks which offer much better support and service, if users decide to use freepay because of the obvious advantage of lower reequirements then thats up to them!

This should be the post of the thread in my opinion, I agree completely with the parts about recommending new users toward the networks which offer better support/service.

I am not talking about new networks, the title of the thread is "Freepay Rant" and one of Kieran's comments was that they should no longer be supported. I was simply saying that was a decision for Jon and the team.

I was simply saying that if there was a vote on the issue (hypothetically speaking of course) I would vote that they be demoted to the type of listing below fully supported, as it might encourage them to get their finger out!! At the same time however, I see that it would have a limited effect with them being so large, but the idea needs to be drummed into their heads.
