I think the line has to be drawn at calling a site a "scam" though Kieran. If that was truly the case, then Jon and the team wouldn't let it be featured on eXceem.

Their judgement has been pretty spot on in the past, as you will find out as and when your own site gets through the approval process.

No, I didn't say the site was a scam! What I was saying was, that for example, a new person finds and joins eXceem. The see FreePay as a big supported network and immediately join, without reading such rants as this. FreePay have such low ref rates etc that you could imagine them meeting the requirements fairly quickly if they put effort into it. Then they wait, wait, wait etc, and finally give up in their own minds of ever getting a free gift from them, and may doubt the whole freebie system in it's entirety. What I am saying is, in the new persons own head, they will label all such freebie sites as scams, because they may label FreePay as a scam when the time goes by having received nothing. When they eventually do receive something (which going by some of the threads on here requires a long distance phonecall and a lot of emails) then they may realise, ok, it wasn't a scam, but I did this months ago, would I be bothered doing this again. Perhaps if I do I'll get a product that will be obsolete when I receive it etc.

Whereas, had they tried any of the UK supported sites they would have had a top notch service, as I can't think of a supported UK site that has any of the same negative posts as Freepay, got their gift within weeks of completing the site and would have had no problems participating again, and going on to become an active member of eXceem

Sorry but you're talking crap.. there's rants on here about some of the uk supported networks as well.. lets face it all networks have tracking problems once in a while, or payment problems from the advertises etc, you just seem to have it in for freepay.. they do everything they're meant to as freebie.. as i said, this thread should be used for people that have signed up and used them.. you can't comment on something you've never tried..

I just read a post posted this morning about them getting back to an eXceem member about fulfilling 3 orders within a week. Admittedly after seeing that, my feelings toward them have eased a little, and if I hear later in the week that that went through as they said, then I will accept that they may indeed be working through a backlog.

As for me talking crap, do not apologise lol. I most likely am, for I am on strong pain killers at the moment (had an operation on Wednesday) so the pain explains my mood, and the druggy effect explains why I'm going on and on lol. Just to be clear I never completely had it in for Freepay, (because if I did, I would never be persuaded to ever see them in a positive light again), whereas as I say I will look at them in a new light if they stick to their word regarding that.

I can only hope that you aren't holding all of this against me indefinitely.

if the guy was just having a rant at a network he'd tried then i wouldn't have a problem about it but its obvious that he's just having a dig at his "competition" and that he's miffed that he's still not exceem supported..

Even those who have an opinion about someone else's opinion?

To be honest, I'm not a fan of rant threads in open forum. Like it or not, Freepay is a supported network and many members have and will probably continue to use their sites. It doesn't really help their cause if this is one of the first things visitors see when they come to the Freepay section.

If every other section/network had a rant thread, we would struggle to convince anyone that the system works. Would everyone just stand back and be quiet if FJ or Kudos were getting a kicking for example?

Kieran has had fair points about freepay and everyone else has just blown his comments out of proportion. All he said originally was that Freepay should be in another category: "Not Yet Supported section."

Jeez, you guys need to calm down

Very true, I don't wish to get involved, I have my opinion on them from what I read on the forums and for that reason will never use them. Never have Never will.

In terms of rant threads, they have good and bad points...good being it stops (well tries to stop) the ammount of individual threads that individuals will make. Bad being it's always going to be near the top of Freepays section on here and is always going to outweigh positive Freepay experiences when a new member is looking for information.

Freepay are hardly "competition" to a new network.

Once this network becomes supported this will all be water under the bridge... we gave Moviedrome a similar hard time when he first appeared on the scene - now look at all of us fanboys (and girls)!!!

Stay calm in a rant thread, are you serious

The point of the thread is to moan about Freepay, not to question eXceem's decision to give or retain supported network status. That is for Jon and the team to decide.

Get your facts right 'old man'!! actually trying to get 'unsupported status'.... which in the exceem caste system is one stage above the great unwashed.

not sure how you can say they're not competition ? surely any other network out there would be classed as competition and freepay being the biggest freebie network to date, they'd be any networks biggest competition.. I know the UK sites are making a fair bit but I'd be very shocked if any of them are making anything close to freepay's turn over.

there was a rant thread last year (or the year before) about one of the uk networks and another network moved in and tried to get customers using the thread against the 1st network.. they got slated for been un-professional, this is the same type of thing, he's not used freepay, so can't really have an opinion on them, so that leave's it down to him just trying to play it dirt and give another network a bad name..
