Freepay Rant Thread

I have used freepay once and never again! I was a couple of referrals short and ran out of time so i had no ipod to show my referrals. Now, due to the time limit on freepay, i am struggling to get people to sign up to my FJ and GA sites cos my proof didnt arrive. Time limits suck ass!!!! and so do freepay!!!! Big up to FJ and GA

well i completed Gifts account around November i think lol...and Laptops about a week before which was verified back last year !! and flat screens voucher was sent Shipped 1/19/2008 !!

so hoping i gifts account passes, if not i'l be REALLY issed off !! i shud get like £700 + £350 not sure when, maybe next year

just checked my gifts, on the off chance and it's been APPROVED !!! does anyone know if i select Macbook do it get that or vouchers, i know the vouchers will end up somewhere else again lol

^^ i've been wondering the same thing, has anyone actually received an item in the post yet from them? id like to know as now after telling a few mates who signed up to me, over half my school year are involved, and they wont realise they can get vouchers. so ill be in really hot water if they are only handing out vouchers atm.

after reading this... would anyone advise against doing a freepay conga?

Just seems like a good way of making money if you get two free greens, 3 or so more and you've got a lot of vouchers no?

if your a newbie, i highly recommend giving a miss to FreePay !! u will only be disappointed in the waiting times and not actually getting the gift, just vouchers..STICK to FJ or R.I !! i WON'T be disappointed then, they have more of a schedule and they actually reply to support tickets !!

I'm requesting Amazon vouchers instead of a Mac Book, so hopefully it moves much quicker than 5 months !!

lol i was going to call them up, had it already, then i come to work on Wednesday and had an email from em..saying we will look at it and send voucher again, and they APPROVED on my gifts, so i'm closer than i was before

Dammit, I officially hate Freepay now :S

My ESD was over a week ago on laptops.fp, and I keep sending them support tickets, every other day, and I haven't got a single reply from them....
My current laptop, which I need for web design and work and stuff is getting worse by the minute, sometimes the cursor won't even move properly :\ So I desperately need a Macbook!

Apparently my request for Amazon vouchers was sent to the fulfillment team a few weeks ago, but I still haven't got anything.

Why can't Freepay just send me my bloody vouchers?

Freepay truly suck!

Having had 5 genuine referrals, either through friends or trades from exceem, I clicked verify.

2 of the referrals vanished after about a month of waiting for verification.

So I managed to get another 2 genuine referrals. Again clicked verify, but now these greens have gone on hold too.

Now I know these people have not broken the rules cos they were basically doing me a favour signing up and are not interested in signing up for other offers.

I'm sick of pestering people to send support tickets, which never get answered.

I'm sick of sending support tickets mentioning the BBB, which have no effect anyway.

I'm sick of sim cards and top ups and those crappy ringtone offers, which rarely track properly anyway - and let's be honest are soley set up to try and rip people off! Who wants to pay £13.50 a week for some terrible pop-tune when you can download any song/ringtone and transfer it to your phone from your pc for free anyway!

I'm sick of trying to convince people freepay is genuine and reliable, when I don't believe it at all myself.

I know some people get stuff from freepay and good on them but...

The bad points about freepay far outweigh the good. Avoid like the plague. Don't ruin your freebie scene reputation with your friends and family by recommending them to Freepay.

My final words...

Freepay suck!

Freepay have owed me 270.00 amazon vouchers for three months now and not a word from them whenever I ask where my gift is. Or infact whenever I ask them anything.

While I was trying to get referrals for my PS3 on Freepay, the ringtone offers kept coming and going, so I'm sure they'll be back.

how do you ask for vouchers on freepay, i just contacted them in the support section. Also how do you know when your request has been sent to the fulfillment team?
