IPODLOVE - 1 Green for you: 1st person to offer me £20

Hi,

Does anyone know the exact rules of whats allowed on ebay for this sort of thing?

I have been removed before for selling pyramid schemes.

Is there a "clever" way around it?

Also what have people found the best forumlas on ebay pages to get the most refers? One example i heard is not to put the word "free" in the title so that people dont ignore it initially..

Any peopls opinions on this?

Jason

eBay don't manually remove each listing, they use a "bot" program to scan listings for freeipods.com links, or links to other known free gift sites. Use tinyurl.com to mask your referral link and you should be ok.

£10 or green for green on freeiPods - plus CD vouchers!

at the end of the day, any auction that is blatently for "displaying your refferal link will get removed" ebay want you to sell physical items.

when you use ebay you run the risk of yoru account being locked, but there is also a change of aload of refferals coming in, so like most things in life its gamble

Thats if you get any greens at all! eBay is too hard to get greens on, good luck to those who try though.

£15/green/cheap games for freeipods green

I havent got any greens off ebay for freepay (I have got 3 for other sites though). I have listed on ebay 10 times and never had it removed (be careful of mentioning paypal though, I got my account suspended for that). Dont sell the auction, list it and say its free information and put yor links in the description. More people sign up if you dont sell it. And because you have to sell something, if someone does bid just email them your link.

Depends how you do it, i've got all my freepay greens for my ipod and a digital camera through ebay. I don't think you can just copy and paste every other auction sit back and expect your gift to drop through the door but ebay is a pretty damn useful tool

From the freepay site you can get banners to put in places. How do you put them in an ebay description. It doesnt give instructions, and when I did it the link worked but the picture didt show up. That looks more profesh and could get me more greens. Please help me.

You can host the pictures anywhere you want and then put a html link to them, I do it all the time so I can have loads of pics of the stuff Im selling without paying for extra pictures.

I know you can do that. But it just shows up as a link and no picture appears. Its one of the banners available on the freepay site. I copied the HTML and pasted it in, put in my referal code etc etc. And it just showed up as "Free ipods" and it was a hyperlink to my referal. But it should have been a really good gif that they do that is a link to my referal. Because that will make a lot more people sign up under me.

Make sure you select 'HTML' as the display option and not leave it as deafult.

HTML Option does cost a few extra pennies as well.
