RE: £5 voucher for play.com

yup - a lot of UK users are still unsure of these sites.

Simply because we have always been told you get nothing for free in this life.

there will be people that get nothing from it, but thats because they expect to get something for free.

if you work at it and canvas for referrals then you will do quite alot of work but you will reap the benefits, as seen by some peoples signs

RE: Is it pyramid selling?

no its a NO

Pyramid schemes involve paying to join a site.or paying for a low cost item to join a site.

The sites exceem list do not require any payment to the free gift site.

but thats not the site giving you the free gift, so there fore does not fall in to the pyramid bracket.

Remeber some sites put up offers you can complete for free.

no, it's not pyramid selling, but it is a pyramid scheme.

Pyramid selling often doesn't actually give you anything except peace love and an empty wallet ;- )

these sites are actually classed as matrix rather than pyramid as they require no cash up front for anything.

RE: Is it pyramid selling?

they are still pyramid schemes as such. the thing that people don't realise is that some pyramid schemes DO work. the ones that rely on referals two or three levels below themselves NEVER work, and Many people lose out. the people who lose out in the free gift scene are those who sign up and don't bother to find referals. the market is not yet saturated, meaning there still is the possibility of gaining the referals. so it will still be a long while before people will truly lose out.

many people wil remember the phone matrix websites of the past few years. where everyone is in a long chain. if you joined within the top four or five people you would get the phone but beyond that it was pretty much imposible. requiring thousands of sign ups before your name came to the top of the list.
