Account Expired - Now what??

Hello

I need some expert advice from Exceemers - my ipods.freepay account expires 2 November 2006, which is tomorrow and I have 2 referals. I rote to them today asking for an extension and this is what they wrote below. It looks like I dont have a leg to stand on - has anyone got any ideas on how I can possibly get an extension or do i just give up?? (i had my account prior to march 2006).

Don't sweat it mate, my 360 account expired in May with 1 green. Now I have my Ebay account back I thought I would be cheeky and ask if I could get extra time.

I got the same automated response, I just re-replied saying can I have extra time, and got standard response saying we have reviewed your account and granted extra 30 days. Got till end of November to complete it now. Sorted!

Thank you for contacting Freepay Customer Service.

Our 90-day account expiration policy stipulates that users have 90 days from their signup date to complete all of their offer requirements. This means that all referrals associated with the user (the referrer) have to each complete an offer within 90 days of the user's (the referrer's) account signup date. Extensions are granted on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse a user an extension.

Common reasons why a deadline would not be extended:

- You did not refer the required number of people before the deadline. - You or a referral are not currently waiting for credit for an offer competion. - Your account is on hold. - You or a referral failed to adhere to our terms & conditions.

This is an automated response. If you feel that this did not answer your question please respond to this message in the box provided below.

Sincerely,

The FreePay
Automated Response Team

Hi, At the time of doing this site I did not put a lot of effort into it as you were struggling and had lots of complaints. However, as you now seem to be getting back on track I want to finish your site. SO Is it possible to have another couple of months time to get the required referrals?? Thanks

Re: Account Expired - Now what??

Thats odd Scribbler, I asked for it and I got it, mine too ended in May. Maybe it was because I wasn't as 'nice' as Matkavs, I was more bold, demanding it be reopened as I didn't agree to a 90 day limit when I joined. Also said I would complain to the BBB if they didn't open it!

Re: Account Expired - Now what??

Well, I have made good use of my extra 30 days.

2 weeks, 185 yellows, 10 greens (I know there will be a few more greens in there when it updates)

Posting my form off today (Well 2 forms, 2 different coloures and sized envelopes, not that I am suspicious they will go missing or owt! lol)

Hope the rest of you get the extra time.

Mat
