dont worry im still here, i just couldnt find anywhere in jersey that sold orange credit, so im just using my current number. just signed up now, and ive had two texts saying freemsg at the begining so i assume those are free, but no ring tone yet.... even though it says i will receive it "now".
the reason i wanted to use my orange sim is so that i could check how much money i have paid, because i have a contract atm

so i wont know how much money ive paid until i get my quarterly bill XD

You have to receive and download the ringtone to get credited, so if that doesn't happen it wont go green.

Another guy had this problem, has your mobile account have any restrictions on it?

Sometimes these premium rate numbers are barred by default and you have to call up to un-bar them.

Hope you green soon, and the conga can move on for you guys.

no i havnt dowloaded the ringtone, my contract sim just hasnt had the text, but im going to do a different ringtone offer on my orange sim now that i have topped it up just to be sure

It will cost you exactly £7.50. £3.00 for a set up fee + £4.50 for the actual content. Basically you receive them and if you want nothing more to do with them you send stop to the number and thats it they will bother you no longer! It takes like 10 mins. They send you a link you download it and then hey presto you receive credit!
