Offer Question [Geo Targeting]

Hello,

I am curious as to how Freebiejeebie Veterans handle geo targeting in regard to current offers. You see, I want to be able to maximize my Green potential by not only helping would be referrals along, but also making the Offer completion process as painless as possible. With this in mind I would obviously like to recommend they complete the most beneficial offer for their particular area of World because as I understand it, Offers differ depending on your location.

In my case, after registering with FJ, I soon realized I had mistakenly chose UK for my location. Support then remedied this for me at which time I noticed the previous offers I had viewed (Lovefilm etc ..) were no longer visible.

How does one go about offering a Tutorial Video if one does not know which offers a potential referral might have access to?

It varies with each country. People on here try and promote UK, US as well as international offers. By doing this it is made sure that at least one offer for each region in mentioned once. This does the charm. People don't complain as the offer was mentioned on the site through which they were referred.

Example:
UK Offer: Halifax
US Offer: Walmart
International offer: 1&1

So, people put up images of each of the above mentioned offers. There are some other offers too. So, if people do not like any of the above offers, they can simply choose another. Referrals wouldn't face any kind of problem.

But, make sure you don't guide them, as in, which offer to do, why to do it, etc. It's against the FJ rules.

I hope this huge post helped you!

It helps immensely, especially the note about not guiding referrals in any particular direction. I personally assumed this would ultimately generate more overall volume for recommended Offer still panning out more actual interested participants vs. mere 1 timers. I also noticed the countless tutorial style videos on YouTube which depict individuals not only guiding, but often displaying the footage of package unwrapping from FJ from using said technique.

I'm not 100% clear about the proper formula to use, but it seems pleasing both Referral (by way of offering quickest path to free products), and Advertiser (by way of offering quality new customers) could prove to be difficult. I would like to please both.

Thank you very much for pointing this out

It's simple. Just promote offers which seem to be quite famous among referrals. (Can anyone from FJ confirm this?) Say, for example from the US, AFAIK, the Walmart offer is really famous. So, you could simply say on your website, or video that the Walmart offer's quite famous, and just give a bit of info about Walmart. Then say what the people are supposed to do in the offer. Just tell them what they would be doing. Don't guide them step-by-step. People will visit the offers page. Say, even if they don't like Walmart, they got loads of others for them to complete. But, still, I'd prefer if someone from FJ could confirm the info in this post.

Or, just recommend the offers that are/free cheap and quick to credit.

I too would appreciate a response from FJ in regard to this. I wouldn't imagine there could be any problems with promoting via tutorial style video, but I just want to be 100% clear.

For someone who has the capability to become a productive part of FJ, but needs an initial 'walk-through', a tutorial (step-by-step) may be priceless, and those may very well be some of my future Referrals. I am proficient in Computer Literacy but found the actual grasp of the FJ concept to be confusing at times.

It's fine to suggest offers but you definitely can't do a step by step guide on how to complete them. It's very straightforward and the offers page gives the requirements.
