Curious Newbie

Hi, and thanks for looking at this thread.
I signed up for both freebiejeebies as well as exceem within the hour.
I wanted to ask any people that know how to use Freebiejeebies if I could take on the offer of LoveFilm, or any other offer multiple times, e.g. could I take on the offer as an referral as many times as I'd like when other people refer me as their referrals, for example sign up or rent 5 DVDs from LoveFilm in 5 different referrals?

I'd also like to know if i've got a couple of things straight as I've looked through some other threads.
I am NOT allowed to trade through private messages, it must be done in public (forums) right?
I'm not sure where I read this again but I must post FIVEtimes before I can trade on Exceem correct?

And lastely, how do I find people to trade with, am I supposed to set up a thread like this one?

Thanks in advance.
Lazy

Welcome to eXceem!

You cannot do any one offer multiple times. Also, there are some offers which are actually from the same "parent company" which if you complete one, you cannot complete the other. For example, Homestead/Intuit and Coral/Gala Bingo.

Yes, you are correct in saying that.

Again, Yes, You have to post AT LEAST five useful posts, ie. Not just Hi, Welcome, Well Done etc. posts. Something that contributes more to the forum.

There is a trades section on eXceem where you can find people who want to trade referrals etc.

Nice to see someone who's read the forum before posting!

That's a good point actually, if a newbie who doesn't know much about the whole freebie business, how are they to contribute... Although there are loads of sections on this forum which don't relate to freebies eg. football, movies, gaming, computers, opinions, graphics etc. etc. that you could contribute to.

I wanted to add to the Trades over PM part, if you did do a trade over PM and something did go wrong then eXceem wouldn't be able to help out as much compared to if you did it the normal way.

To be honest the 5 post rule probably isn't that strict, as long as it's not just "ha" "hi". Id consider all of the posts as helpful so far

Tbh I think the "trades" section should be for VIP+ members only, vip is £2 a year but like the extra inbox capacity you pay extra for, then why not do the same with trades, it will whittle out more scammers IMHO. and Exceem see more funds for Jon's wedding and server costs

^^ agreed ^^ iv never traded because of all the horror stories, but if we worked off that kind of system or exceem extra members only, then i think it would work alot better
