ipod icon for fj

Just curious if anyone was interested in adding an icon to freebiejeebies for an iphone home screen icon. ive had this on my ipod for quite a while, untill about an hour ago, when it was pointed out to me that it sorta looks like... male genitalia. (dont know if thats spelled right, but no way i'm googling it.)

well now i cant stop seeing it, so i just changed it to the big 'F' at the beginning.

I'm just wondering if anyone uses homescreen icons like this, i have it here because the bottom row is my mobile freebie center.. craigslist, twitter, FJ status, and tumblr for my site..

I found some instructions and did a quick little thing in photoshop and came up with this,

when its on the homescreen it will have a glare and the edges will be cut off, but its still not that great to look at right now. but i would make a good one if someone likes this idea..

(btw, heres the bottom row of my next page, did it one day when i was bored.)

If anyone fancies making a 'proper' FJ one (PNG file, 57x57px) we'd happily put it up!
You don't need to add the rounded corners or pretty glare yourself.

what exactly would the icon be used for though. i have an unhacked iphone so dont think i can use it anyways.

i think these icons could be cool for like websites. making them for like our social networking sites

When your are on Fj on your iPhone click on the plus button and go add the home screen that is the icon and it will link it to the FJ website that you were on.

not bad... but you might want to scrap the "Apple" "Select" etc...

People can edit the name when they add it to the home screen, so if you copy the green one you can just name it Apple rather than not being able to read the tiny text in the pic.

Also, can you do the ones I suggested above please?

Just rename it apple-touch-icon.png and put it in the root.

You don't need to add rounded corners or the shine it does that automatically. It should also resize to the right size.
