Freebiejeebies - Intuit offer - TO CLARIFY ONCE AND FOR ALL

Sorry if this has been asked before, but there have been some contradictory replies on this - when doing either the "Homestead" or "Intuit" offer, can DEBIT CARDS be used to sign up when going green?

Also, I just have a few other questions regarding these offers:

When they say "create a website", what exactly qualifies?

Is there anything in particular one can do after "creating a website" that would invalidate the offer?

I'm just really curious, just in case I do anything wrong. I was just about to get started with collecting referrals on a bigger scale, and I can't say I'm not upset about the recent disapearance of the Lovefilm trial; and on that note, I'm even less thrilled about the price hikes in it's replacements. Convincing people to sign up for a free web design package and create a website is going to be a lot more difficult

Does anyone have any advice on getting referals? I think with the Lovefilm offer going now, the remaining free alternatives are a lot more difficult do get people involved with.

I would appreciate any help or experiences. Thanks very much in advance.

some debit cards can be used. but i used my visa debit which worked.

create a website means they just want you to publish it.

as for advice, there is a whole section for that which sums up : friends/family; websites; posters; SEO; business cards; blogs; backlinks.

The publish part should be in the same computer that you registered in or can it be in another one?

Debit cards can definitely be used, but obviously you can't use the same debit card twice e.g. if you want to set up more than one freebiejeebies account; an apple.freebiejeebies and a PS3 freebiejeebies.

I have found that if you create a ticket stating that you have completed an offer but it has not shown up on your account yet, you will go green much quicker. BUT if you do this make sure you mark your ticket as low priority as thats pretty much what it is!

cheers!

We don't talk about cancelling and you do need to publish a website (if you don't you've not tried the offer).

Support tickets do not make you go green any faster

They might have done but when you verify may not stay green. We set the terms of the offer and anyone found not to have published a website will find their offer revoked. In addition you can only complete each offer once as stated in the terns and conditions.

If you don't publish a site you've not tried the offer genuinely.

If it's been a week it should have gone green, mine usually green within 24 hours.

not might have done - they definitely did. If my offer status goes back to incomplete or is revoked when I verify, that's fine; I will redo the the offer in the correct way i.e. not do whatever it was that made the offer get revoked initially.

To clarify - I completed the Intuit offer twice: once for my consolesfreebiejeebies account and once for my PS3freebiejeebies account. I signed up to the Intuit one month free trial and before I had got round to publishing a website, my account went green. I didn't see the need to publish a website when my account had already gone green.

I've done nothing wrong, I haven't tried to cheat the system or anything like that, this is just what happened. The starting post of this thread was asking for advice which I provided based on my own experience. You can't fault me for that.

As for whether or not you do have to publish a website to complete the Intuit offer, I guess we will have to wait until I hit the verify button to find out, which hopefully will be soon as I really want to play GT5!

You can only complete each offer once, so you cannot complete the same offer twice on two different FJ sites.

It's not a case of digging a hole. Like I have already said, if they are revoked I will simply do another offer, I'm fine with that.

Let's be honest here - the challenge isn't getting your account to go green, it's getting green referrals, in light of which the former pales into insignificance.

The reason I keep going on about it is because I feel the need to back my original post which I believe was solid advice but for some reason I am being penalised for.

Even if the offer goes green without publishing a site you are encouraging people not to try the service which ultimately leads to us losing offers. The requirements are to publish a site and if this isn't done you could be revoked

The idea of my post leading to an offer being removed is far fetched. Unfortunately my original post has been edited, but I don't think there was anything encouraging in its tone, it just laid out facts.

I find that people generally go for an offer that benefits them, so if they want to build a website they will go for the Intuit and if they don't want to build a website they will, rather than starting an offer and not fulfilling its requirements as it has been suggested could happen, simply choose another offer.

At the end of the original post it says ''I would appreciate any help or experiences''. I relayed my own experience, simple as that.
