icyoli has a spectacular aura about
If your account does get put on hold, contact freebiejeebies via a support ticket and explain the problem truthfully, and if they deem it right you will be fine

Do what icyoli said and maybe FJ will understand your situation and close his account.

ok i sent them one but do you think it will be put on hold? as he has only signed up hasn't completed any offer? so surely when i go to verification that they won't take no notice of it as its not a completed offer?

you will need to get your dad to send a ticket asking for his account to be deleted, for starters. After that, we can't really say what FJ will say about it, that's up to them.

They shouldn't put your account on hold, maybe his until he sends in a support ticket himself asking to be deleted / address changed. But once deleted he cannot sign up again.

it does affect your account though as it looks as though 2 accounts have been made with the same IP number and address...yours. FJ aren't to know whether it is a relative or just someone trying to cheat them.

You just have to wait to see what FJ say, not us because we will all have different answers.

But surely if you ask for them to remove all of your information they are legally obliged to remove all of your data, so there would be no way for them to regulate this...

I have explained about creation of new accounts recently in another thread. You are not permitted to create a new account on the same site even if your previous account has been deleted.

This is to preserve the referral system - we need to ensure that the person who first referred someone to our site receives the referral credit for this. This rule is of particular benefit to a lot of you guys who refer 'randomers' as it prevents them from effectively changing their referral link over to a friend by switching accounts. If a person has joined our site unreferred, there are situations where we will allow a new account to be created, but this must be agreed with us up front via Support.

The Data Protection Act permits us to keep sufficient records to maintain the above rule.
