It doesn't mean that once it goes green that it is perfect. Verification is a final check to see if that any of the greens has broken the ToS.

Sometimes greens are auto credited and looked at later.

your greens still can be revoked in verification process if that person did not finish offer corectly (like mine if i had 10 greens for xbox (((( and 1 was revoked)
You can verify just if you have correct amount of greens for your selected gift.

I can kind of afford it anyway, but I was earmarking that cash for a bathroom and kitchen!!!!

Looking at the 300 I have on hold across all sites is super painful though.

Ah well, just grateful that I got the greens that are available to go on hold. Wish they wouldn't though.

Thanks

Sorry Amy I didn't quite finish your verif last night, it was nearly midnight so I went to bed.

Had a nightmare day yesterday, one step forward and two steps back... had my Internet for half an hour in the morning then it crashed while I was loading up the manual verif reports. Waited a while hoping it would come back, tried all the things they tested last time, then spent over an hour on the phone to BT.

They made me late for a lunch I'd arranged with friends, very stupidly ran to catch my bus which gave me bad pains in my bump and pelvis My pelvis still hurts so much I can hardly walk... and cos I was in pain I came straight home & forgot I needed to buy a dongle!! Hubby rang BT again when he got home from work & they're getting an engineer to call me at 8am this morning (they've not rung yet).

Got Internet back late last night, and it is still working now. I just hope that doesn't mean the engineers won't do anything because there must be a problem.

Rant over! Lol

You deffo need a 3G dongle incase your net goes down, I bought 1 last year so I could have the internet while away for a week. used it loads of times since in various situations including when bloody Virgin disconned me from the box in the street instead of some other muppet who hadn't paid their bill.

Lol, can't believe they disconnected you by mistake!

Yes it's stupid really not having one as a back-up considering the work I do! It's on my to do list.

Stupid question coming... are they just a PAYG thing I buy up front and then plug in, or do I have to have some kind of contract?

you are prob better off going the contract route as you can then claim it back on expenses, but you can get PAYG but its an arse topping up as you have to topup then go online and transfer it from call time to internet credits.

ps. make sure you choose the network who gives the best coverage in your area so you always get full 3G and not gprs which is painfully slow.

The 3 network's diagnosis of my area made me laugh:

"Outdoor coverage
If you’re inside you may struggle to get a signal."

The other two show either very good or excellent, which it ought to because I'm only 2 or 3 miles outside a city centre.

Cheers guys (you can see why Rich ends up doing all the technical stuff, I don't even know about dongles! )

I recommened T-Mobile and the 6 month booster for £20, saves topping up.

Boosters – Pay as you go Boosters – T-Mobile

Plus when it runs out its only another £20 for another 6 month.

I use Virgin for my broadband, never get these cut offs that i keep hearing that BT customers are getting! Also have a 3G dongle with vodafone on a monthly contract, don't find myself using it too often but if i was on PAYG then i would find it being much more expensive for the hours used.

Not a problem Alex, I would have gone to bed long before midnight!

Hope you sort everything with the Internet and the bump!
