I've had major problems with Internet yesterday and today, and I'm pretty much limited to answering support tickets on my phone. I'm with BT and I rang them yesterday, just rang them again today & they've now informed me there is a problem at the exchange and I "just have to wait", there's nothing they can do for me. Anyone else on BT and having problems? Anyway the main purpose of me posting is to apologise again, i realise it's just one delay after another at the moment  |

| I'm in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. It's still down at the moment, Ive spent nearly 2 hours on the phone to BT over yesterday & today but there's nothing they can do for me until the problem with the exchange is fixed I asked for a likely timescale but they basically don't know, although they hoped it would be within 24 hours (that was when I spoke to them this morning).There are still some verifs from 9th September, that should be the earliest but I realise those ones will be 14 days old tomorrow and far short of our normal service levels. |

| Why not virgin? I work for them and I can truthfully say that their network is only getting better and better. Also you do not need to rely on telephone lines.

| I use sky and have no issues. However virgin media are not allowed to connect their cables to our property (clever deal done by sky when development was built!) and if they were I would go with them as a stop gap, goto carphonewarehouse and get a mobile internet dongle on 3, can be had on PAYG and would give better BB than on a phone (you use a iphone dont you? dont think that can be made into a mobile wifi hotspot?)
