I think that fusion banner are made to be showed many times for day as you permit to insert it in the forum signs. Really, i think a default 120sec interval can't be a problem .

I add that you can see my widget as another fj-performance-oriented forum (oriented to optimize fj performance) about FJ where each user have a Fusion Banner in Sign and each user can see it only one at time and only each 120secs... i think this is really good for fj. i think fj wouldn't make this a problem...

Anyway, just to be clear, i asked support before releasing the gadget for some help in avoiding the banner request and instead retrive simpler and lighter text results... the support said no and said will haven't any intention for the future.

Seriously hoping to have not written something misunderstandable in english.

I know exactly what you're saying, but people aren't doing such things because they're respecting the system and the guidelines that we suggest. I've asked you more than nicely (and been supported by Richard) to implement a minimum refresh rate of 30 minutes. That is all.

And... for reference, 10Hz would translate to a refresh rate of every 0.1s, not every 10s! (Unless I'm that tired and have made a mistake...)

Ok, i like we understood the reciprocal point of view.

Ehm... i think you are enough tired to not have well read my post... i wrote 10hz is "10 times per second" *that is* 0.1s refresh rate.
