Strange, it's still on Apple's site, but the article I read at Mashable says iPod Classic is being removed, hence I thought it was no longer in existence.

Hmm...

Can we please have some current smartphones added to mobiles please. It seems to be a neglected site as it does not even have the customisation option

Looks like Mashable made a mistake: Confirmed: the iPod Classic is alive and well -- Engadget

@the_icks - customisation option is currently only on Gifts and Gadgets as these are the sites with the largest number of gifts available. I don't think it's fair to say it's neglected because of this, as other popular sites such as Apple and Consoles are also without the drag/drop customisation.

apologies for the double post, by neglected I meant in as far as not being kept up to date... plus my new site is focussing on smartphones in particular... most of which are available sim free these days from places like mobiles.co.uk

Most other sites are up to date and often when people suggest items they are added quite quickly!!

Yep I understand your frustration in that respect - was just keen to point out that it hasn't been as neglected as badly as you think, in that the majority of FJ sites don't have the customisation feature you wrote about.

slightly off topic, but while your jiggin things about how about an xmas theme for each site. Atm we can choose colours so it wouldn't be too hard to implement a xmas looking theme?

Might also help conversions nearer the time of good will and **** loads of greens

Hey icks, yes you're right... Mobiles is the hardest site for us to keep updated because there are regularly new phone releases. It's not as easy for us to keep our eye on these as it is for, say, new Apple item releases because they are not all in one place so to speak.

We're always grateful for suggestions for additions to our sites. If there's something new that you guys want or think there is a demand for, chances are you are probably right.
