Hi, I am new - FJ Blogging idea

Hi,

I am new to the forum here and I have been trying to get a few referrals for Freebiejeebies without success, although I am not asking anyone for any at the moment! I noticed a few new guys got told off for doing that lol.

Anyway, I have my own blog which is very new but is doing rather well so far. The Daily Grind. What I was planning on doing is documenting the whole experience and result on my quest for a free iPhone 4 once I have got referrals. Does this sound like a good idea?

Also, I can offer to anyone willing to be a referee for me the opportunity to have their name and credited and referral link on my blog article once I have completed it!

So far most of my blog traffic comes from Yahoo answers, reddit and digg. I have been scouring Yahoo answers to post my referral link on the sly.

Some people have already got a blog and document their progress. I do that and, at the same time, post some referral methods, and you can see this blog in my signature.

When you say 'referee' what do you mean? Do you mean 'referral'? So if we sign up under your referral link, what do we get back? (also you can't do ref link trades outside the trade section).

Thanks for your reply mate, I checked out your blog and noticed that you have put a lot of effort into your methods! All of a sudden this is looking a little more difficult than I thought it would be but I won't give up.

I will make sure that I include a link to it in my completed article.

Just a question about congas. I have already joined Freebiejeebies under a different referral link. Which conga do I join if I am already an FJ member?

If you have already joined that site, then you can't join the conga. As FreebieJeebies rules state you can only have 1 account per household. So if you have already joined Gifts.FJ, you can't join that conga, but you can join the Gadgets.FJ conga.

You can also access the trade section, where you can trade for greens (these are completed referrals, i.e. referrals who have completed an offer), but you need to be a member for 5 days and you need to make 5 meaningful posts.

What I mean is that I was going to put my referal link on my blog and once I have my 25 I will start using referals links of other members who signed up under my link. Perhaps cycle them over a week or two period depending how much traffic the article gets.

Sounds a great idea and very generous... Although getting freebies is very addictive as well as being time consuming and hard work, so you may not want to give away potential referrals!

No problem mate! You never know where you might find useful information that you didn't know you needed these day. I'm glad you enjoyed my blog. That particular article has actually pulled most of my blog traffic so I think I might be sneaky and try a few more Starcraft related posts.

Anyway! That is getting a bit off topic, I was thinking earlier would it be uncool to start my own conga? Or is it something that the admin staff coordinate?

In response to the 'generosity' post. I'd like to say that I really don't mind initially, I just want my iPhone! haha. I think it would be good publicity for my blog as well, to be successful in blogging you really need to offer people something and I think this is a good start, it would also form the basis of a good series of articles...
