| My phat ps3 got the YLOD a couple of years ago and i called sony and they sent me a new refurbished 1 for free. Although my friend got the YLOD and they tried to make him pay money for a new 1 so i don't know if they still give you a free 1, worth a try though.

| Yarp, my phat ps3 got ylod then I bought an elite which after a month RRod'ed and I'm now one away from a slim - which will undoubtley rdot (red dot of death). Only way to make sure is to buy guarentee. Good luck on gettinmg your 8 referrals! |
