Why are people so skeptical about signing up to Freebiejeebies?

As soon as I ask people, they're like, I'M NOT CLICKING ANY LINK MY COMPUTER'S ALREADY INFECTED or they're worried about giving out details? :/

plenty of people are sceptical of the internet and free stuff, if people say its a scam dont waste your time and effort trying to convince them otherwise just move on, it's their loss at the end of the day.

because it is "general knowledge" that you can't get something for nothing. Just explain how they are actually making money from this and they might sign up.

I did and I have to agree that articles like that do nothing to help us.
Anyone reading that, and anyone seeing that on FB will automatically tar freebie sites like ours with the scam brush.

I know what the article was about. My point was more in line with that of chapperz in that it just adds negative association.
The jibe about the journalist is that he could have differentiated and pointed out that there are legitimate ways as that sort of information would likely be of interest to someone reading this article in the first place.

I agree with Harvez... If one person doesn't believe it, there will always be someone else who does. I wouldn't worry about it.

people are so skeptical because the need to use a credit card to complete an offer even if it's free. maybe completing a offer will be more easier getting referals won't be hard.

People are skeptical because of the number of scam offers all around the Internet (I just signed up and I still don't really believe I can get anything). The necessity of providing the credit card number doesn't make it easier either...

I don't blame people for being sceptical these days, who gives something for nothing anymore? That's how it seems to people at first glance, but when you read into it, it isn't really. I guess you just need to make people realise that. But then, I'm pretty new to this too, so what do I know????

well one things for sure just copy and paste your loong explanation at how true getting gifts for free is! Then run and hide before zey attack ya with more complicated "already infected" messages of theres!

I know what you mean! I asked a friend to sign up and he was like that too! But convinced him by showing him the eXceem forum "I got my free item" section. Got my ipod touch and showed it to him, then he really believed it! You should try (if you haven't already) showing him the eXceem forum!

If you show eXceem forum to someone I bet they would say "maybe they edited that page using photoshop?"! Well maybe over exaggerating but some won't believe anything unless you have real proof! If I mention the word "free" and "internet" first thing my mum says "that's a scam" "the reason why I never bother with the internet". Not even the word probably! She believed nothing until now! So happy it came! The iPod is what I mean by the real proof.

Just tell them how they make money as most scams don't answer this question. A lot of people want to know how they make money to afford to give stuff away for free, if you can tell them this then they will be more likely to believe what you are saying.

i was skeptical at first but once i looked into it more I saw that its good! seems too good to be true but hopefully once im holding my iPhone Ill believe it 100%!!!
