It can go green in 2-3 days providing the conditions of the offer are met. Trouble with it is a lot of people don't fulfil requirements so stays pending for a long time then revokes.

I just got another pending tonight, felt my heart sink like a stone when I saw it was a&l.

I'd love the ability to remove them from my page just like I can with certain gift items...

But why though as there is a possibility it will go green. Surely an A&L pending is better than a "not completed"?.....just lol

I don't know what they are. I only know it can't be just signing up or they'd all go green . There's some kind of minimum cash deposit required on one of them and also to have a certain amount going in each month

If the offer wasn't there then the referral would take a different offer, one that had much more chance of completing.
That is my reasoning.

But there's a possibility that if the A&L offer wasn't there then the potential sign up would go for lovefilm or intuit etc.

I did have an issue with this a couple of weeks ago but live and let live in A&L's case anyway.

I'll be absolutely honest here, this is where my thoughts stand on A&L, and apologies to FJ, I know they do a fantastic job in keeping us going with quality offers to promote.

I have 5 A&L now, not as many as others but nonetheless this is £100 i'm currently missing out on.
If one of my pending A&L convert today, tomorrow, whenever it won't change the way I feel about them.

This is purely because if this offer wasn't available then my pendings would have chosen another offer, maybe LOVEFiLM, maybe AA ... whatever.

If they didn't then they would just be another red referral and I would be none the wiser, certainly not sat here with a £20 badge there taunting me.

Mental torture I tells thee ... mental torture !!!

While I also feel like I would like to have an option to remove A&L on my account, I have decided (after thought), to decline asking for it. My reasoning is as follows.

If people are at the stage of being willing to sign up to an offer, opening a bank account sounds like it is going to be easy, and because they know what it entails (and the brand name is one of the most prominent of the offers), they will feel assured that there are no hidden strings attached at all (which might be a worry of a 'trial' like LOVEFiLM or Intuit/Homestead).

Whilst removing A&L may cause 10% of those that would have signed up with them to not complete an offer at all, it will move 90% of them to an offer with a much much better conversion rate. I would rather have a bit of something than a lot of nothing!

I imagine the reasons FJ are keeping it is that it will have a relatively high affiliate payout, I would imagine between the £40-60 mark, however this is just a guess.

While for us referees, all greens are equal and interchangable, FJ would far rather have 1 A&L green than 5 LOVEFiLM greens. It may even be the case that removing A&L would result in most of the A&Ls signing up to LOVEFiLM, with its much lower affiliate payout. This would mean that margins were much lower, and it may mean that we would have to have £19 worth of 'stuff' per green, and £16 of cash, for example.

It is a shame there are no free AND simple offers, which have a high affiliate payout, but oh well!

This has already been answered. If they go green they normally change within 2 weeks. From experience if they go longer than this they are likely to be revoked. Personally I have had more a&l greens than revokes. I currently have 6 a&l pendings so I am hoping my experience continues in that manner

at least have the A&L savings 1 removed, lets face it not your average joe has £1,000 month to open a savings account.
