Lovefilm problem

I am a member of FreebieJeebies, so decided to complete the Lovefilm offer. I signed up on the 20th dec. and on 21st dec. recieved an email telling me my dvd has been dispatched. Now i dont know if this has been messed up by the xmas holiday(post not coming on christmas) or what?
I sent them a DVD NOT ARRIVED THING and they emailed me telling me theyll send the dvd again and ill have to complete a royal mail form.
This seems like it is going to go over my free trial time, what should I do?
i emailed support of lovefilm with an email looking a bit like this post.
I wanted a free trial... Dont know what to do

not really helpful

In normal circumstances, the DVD would arrive next day but because of it being the Xmas week, mail would have been delayed.

The best solution is to contact Lovefilm and explain to them that you have signed up for a 2 week trial but you would like an extension due to the fact you may only get 1 dvd in that time. Lovefilm will probably give you extra time due to the fact that they want your custom.

I reckon it will turn up on Tuesday 29'th. If dispatched on the 21'st it would have entered the system on the 22'nd, while LOVEFiLM normally deliver next day, I would guess the influx of Christmas cards and posties having to deliver alot more small parcels, along with the bad snow in some areas making posties rounds much longer (it took me 10 mins last night to walk down a 20m hill due to how icy it was

)

I am sure that our resident postie will confirm, but the 25'th,26'th,27'th & 28'th of Dec are non delivery days for posting stuff though the letter boxes, and I would expect the behind the scenes stuff that goes on will be on a bit of a slowdown to?

Sorry for not being helpful, but it seems wierd like he even said himself what the problem was, and then complained.

sounded to me like he was more miffed off with the fact that his 2 week trial is only really going to last a few days time.

Took out my Lovefilm offer too when I signed to freebiejeebies, but to be honest im gonna continue if my first DVD is a succes as it's much cheaper and easier than going to a blockbuster or similar!
