This is a discussion on User on hold??? wtf??? within the Freebiejeebies forums, part of the eXceem supported sites category; what does this mean? while having my account verified i had 24 refs complete. 16 needed. now today the order ...

what does this mean? while having my account verified i had 24 refs complete. 16 needed.

now today the order is being processed but ive lost 7 sign ups due to user on hold whatever that is.. so why are they on hold? anyone know why this happens

Sounds like you have 7 people who thought they could try and cheat Freebiejeebies. Large percentage though, did you know any of them?

This happens when the user has broken the terms and conditions of FJ. Either they have multiple accounts or have tried to scam the offers.

Due to data protection though FJ will not be able to tell you the exact reasons

EDIT: Beaten to it by the fox again...

nope i dont know any of them. was all green yesterday now the buggers are all user on hold.. and its 7 refs too grrhhh

I have had about 12 of my refs go on hold over the past 12 months and it is annoying when you have been waiting a while to get enough for a gift.

Hi there.... Support didn't tell me that.... And now I am confused.... They tell me, and i will quote "carry out random identity checks". Now was this a nice way to tell me that they suspect me? Because I already have my account reinstated, but now I have to wait for my referrals.

no, it says they carry out "random checks", that's not saying they suspect you at all.

Yes and I accept that very well, and I believe that it is necessary. But then I read "We only put people on hold when they've breached our terms and conditions but we can't tell you why. We can however tell your referral if they contact us directly.", but ok, there's no problem. Must have been different contexts.....
