they used to be 28 days boss, so not really

there was a period where they were crediting in under a week

yeh i was credited fast with some lovefilms when i first started. now it seems to be getting slower and slower lol. not that im complaining. just wish they would stick to their plans of every monday or every other monday lol

Either way, it's not the best news for the networks, for us or for people who aren't convinced the system works (if they see their offer pending for an unspecified length of time).

It was the change of advertiser. Auto approvals aren't good really, it means a lead is approved without being checked and leads were credited that shouldn't have been

Surely they are good, it gives LOVEFiLM and incentive to get a report out in 28 days. Rather than buck their ideas up they remove the deadline, seems like a kop out.

Doesn't help that the same advertiser still can't approve pendings from the time of the switchover.

those pendings are untracked sales and the process is different with the new advertiser - it is not the same as just not approving old pendings it requires more stringent checks.

I have heard back from Lovefilm and they hope to have everything up to date by Thursday

Am not entirely sure why it takes so long for them to check things etc. I would have thought that they would check a customer was legit before they sent out any DVD's

Hope the report does come in then this week, because if not it will be cutting it fine for christmas when you take into account verifications and delivery (or bank transfer).

Can you not just sell Ben's car and split it? lol

One thing that I do not know if many of you have considered, is that Lovefilm is in the hands of a new advertiser and the minority have spammed the f**k out of a certain social networking site and just imagine the impression that this will give when a lot of these turn out to be crap..... we have lost several good offers due to bad results recently.

It might sound sour graps because I missed the band wagon, but I hope that we haven't **** in our own bed!!

Other methods have come and gone in the past though. Lovefilm hadn't disappeared due to the other big methods too. I guess it's a case of whether those members actually posted stuff about Lovefilm whilst spamming which would be a big deciding factor. Lovefilm won't want to be seen as the company who "spams". But i would think that they would actually warn the companies such as FJ first of repeated spamming before pulling their campaigns because ultimately Lovefilm aren't only affiliated with freebie sites are they and they take a small chuck i would imagine.
