I'm Confused....

I was just talking about freebies yesterday, He's also on FJ. Anyway, he got me confused and worried that even if I get enough referrals for my Xbox 360 Elite, the government will charge me extra money for the import.

If 360 Elite is 300$, he was saying they would charge like 10000 PKRs. which are like 100$. I mean what would be the point if I have to give 100$ anyway. He said that in small things like iPod Nano, charge less and get 2 iPods and then sell them to get Xbox 360.

What I want to know is, Is is true that I'll have give extra money for the delivery, otherwise all this Freebie game would be pointless? Please reply.

well i doubt it, as it would be marked as gift (as its a free gift) but im not 100% sure on how it works in pakistan with the imports... I would have thought it was the same (if its marked gift you dont pay tax etc.)

i think the post and packaging is free
also i think all u have 2 do is an offer and the referals and they will send it out to you.
But the person who you refer have to sign up and do an offer as well

If it is true, I would suggest getting cash, maybe a bank transfer in lieu of the Xbox, and then buying it with the cash.

I doubt the Xbox would be sent from the UK, does Pakistan have it's own version of Amazon or anything? Otherwise you would get a cash alternative sent to you so you could buy it yourself.
